Outside Sales/Solutions Advisor

We are looking for an outgoing, self‑motivated individual to meet with new prospects and close new business. You should not be afraid to get out there, pound the pavement, pick up the phone, and introduce us to prospects. Once a prospect is identified, you will follow our documented process to analyze their IT and business needs and present recommended solutions. While you don’t have to be an IT guru, you will need to quickly learn about our products and services and translate those into business value when dealing primarily with small business owners.

• Start with a base pay and spend the first 30 days learning our processes, procedures, and culture. This includes shadowing the team, online training, and calling with current staff.
• Learn and follow our documented and proven sales process from start to finish. The sales playbook includes tools such as scripts, assessment questions, procedures, and presentation format.
• Practice the discovery/assessment process and prepare a sample presentation for evaluation by staff.
• Master the process within 90 days and begin prospecting to clients with existing lists and leads.
• Pay will be reduced after 90 days, with the expectation of making up the difference through commissions.
• Hit and maintain certain activity levels each week (calls to prospects, presentations, first appointments, canvassing stops).
• Within 6 months grow a book of business independently.

If you can accomplish everything above, provide proof of previous success in a sales or related field, and feel that you have what it takes to move us forward, then we should definitely talk. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, but the role’s responsibilities are the priority.

Ideal candidates live within 30 miles of Janesville, as anything further is usually not practical.
