Schedule: Full-time, on-site with international travel
Our client is a well-established, multinational manufacturer of agricultural equipment with a strong presence in North America. They are seeking an Export Sales Support Specialist to educate and support internal staff and international distributors on products manufactured in North America. This role reports to the Director of Sales for North America and plays a key part in strengthening the company's global distribution network.
Whatyou'll do
- Serve as the primary liaison to the company's distribution subsidiaries and importers outside of North America, coordinating communication on product sales performance, trade shows, visits, demonstrations, and product launches for U.S. products and services
- Ensure designated sales representatives are trained, informed, and supported so they can effectively represent North American products and services
- Work to influence the company's international network to grow sales of products made in North America
- Manage machine inventory
- Assist in developing products and programs aimed at increasing sales and customer satisfaction
- When not traveling, work from the North American headquarters answering questions, preparing presentations, learning about new product development, and supporting staff outside North America
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time internationally to work with company staff and dealers
- Bachelor's degree in business, agri-business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of prior sales or sales support experience, with some experience in agricultural or heavy mobile equipment
