Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic at our Janesville, WI location. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment. You will conduct routine vehicle and equipment maintenance, ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards, and address mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. The role also involves working collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality service and minimize customer downtime.

In addition to in-shop service, this position includes mobile road service duties, requiring you to respond to breakdowns and provide on-site repairs to get our customers back on the road safely and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair
  • Experience with Vehicle Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of Equipment Maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong diagnostic skills for both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Technical certifications in diesel technology or related fields are a plus
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred but not required
