Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Wastewater Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing wastewater equipment and performing routine maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities- Use basic hand tools effectively.
- Repair and maintain wastewater equipment, including motors, pumps, valves, and piping.
- Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance.
- Observe and adjust chemical usage based on wastewater testing results.
- Conduct light electrical troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic valves, mechanical seals, chains, belts, sprockets, gears, bearings, and pumps.
- Read and utilize equipment manuals for repairs and maintenance.
- Perform duties requiring overhead work, use of ladders, and tasks in various environments.
- Engage in plumbing, carpentry, and pipe fitting tasks.
- Perform other related and unrelated duties as needed.
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance, pumps, motors, and piping.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience in plumbing, carpentry, and welding.

Work EnvironmentWork in a refrigerated facility that produces sausages and hamburgers. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 11 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
