MAIN OBJECTIVE: The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership

- Valid Drivers License
- Must maintain condition of insurability through our current liability insurance carrier
- Professional appearance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good communication skills
Essential Duties:
- Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors
- Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors, to be coordinated with the Parts Manager, Parts Counter people, or Shipping and Receiving before leaving
- Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient’s signature
- Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
- Wash outside of truck daily
- Be responsible for the basic upkeep of the truck; check oil with each fill-up, ensure that the truck is lubricated every 3000 miles, write-up any less than safe conditions and provide to Parts Manager
- Cash checks and other financial receipts, fiduciary.
- Maintains facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the Parts department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc…
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Will spend eight hours or more a day driving interstate and city roads. Will encounter traffic, and weather conditions. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, and feel. Will be required to lift up to 70 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Will encounter slippery floors and other potentially hazardous conditions.
