Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Job Overview

This position involves loading and unloading trailers and railcars, inspecting product, using handheld scanners, assisting with cycle counts, performing equipment maintenance, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Base pay: $20.00 per hour.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.

• Load and unload trailers and railcars and transport loads to designated area
• Check product on inbound/outbound for accuracy and damage
• Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories
• Recharge batteries, fill fuel tank, or replace gas tank
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment
• Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Adhere to company safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift (required)
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards
• Apply common‑sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work in a non‑temperature controlled warehouse
