Warehouse Lead

Naturpak is a rapidly growing manufacturer that has been designing and distributing high quality retort products. We are currently searching for a Warehouse Lead to join our manufacturing team.

The Warehouse Lead position is responsible for a variety of different warehouse duties. This person will lead hourly personnel in a food manufacturing setting. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.

• Provide daily interaction and direction to hourly personnel and temporary employees
• Create an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve business results
• Direct training and development of hourly and temporary employees to achieve desired quality, safety, and production goals
• Oversee all shipping and receiving paperwork has been completed and submitted
• Ensure efficient and safe operations of all material handling equipment
• Ensure inventory accuracy in SAP for all IPM divisions.
• Ensure that a reliable and accurate inventory of all products stored at the facilities.
• Report the daily operations to the supervisor
• Monitor warehouse sanitation and take correct action when necessary
• Operate forklifts to move, pull, load and unload materials
• Use handheld scanning devices and inventory management system daily
• Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

• Must be punctual and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills at a cross-functional level (i.e. throughout the company)
• Proficient with computer applications; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Accuracy in recordkeeping, sorting, checking, counting and verifying items
• Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including but not limited to; wheat, soy, egg, milk, and tree nut.
• Ability to work in open environments, exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, walk, and stand, walk, reach with hands and arms for long periods. The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. There is extensive walking required.
