We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Jasper, AL. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged to apply); 1 year experience preferred
• Background: 2-6 months in acute care setting
• Must hold BLS certification and state-specific licensure
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
