Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,754 per week

Overview

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Jasper, Alabama.

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase their oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively.
• Strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or regain reliable communication and swallowing skills to support educational, vocational and social roles.
• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or active application in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
