Nursing Assistant II
The Nursing Assistant II provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role supports patients with daily care activities, monitors vital signs, and helps maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team to support patient recovery and deliver compassionate care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
- Communicate patient concerns to nurses and healthcare staff
- Participate in patient rounding and shift handoff reports
- Respond to patient call lights and requests
- Transport equipment, supplies, blood products, and medications (excluding controlled substances)

Qualifications Education- High School Diploma or equivalent required
One of the following is required:
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – State of Florida
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, or Medical Corpsman
- Internationally licensed medical personnel
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of healthcare experience within the past five years in a relevant healthcare setting
Experience may not be required for graduates of approved training programs.
