Qualified Substance Abuse Professional II; QSAP II) Counselor

The Qualified Substance Abuse Professional II (QSAP II) will counsel individuals or groups regarding substance use and mental illness as appropriate. Develops and implements a therapeutic treatment plan and helps with linkage to treatment and community resources and meets with individuals in hospital settings and in the community. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.

• Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, community rehabilitation, or pastoral counseling, family therapy, or other behavioral health area with equivalent requisite clinical course work.
• Current/valid non-expired driver's license.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing.
• Employment requires a 5 day paid orientation held in Marion County, AL, Monday-Friday, 8:30a-4p.

Full-Time, 40 Hours

• Monday 8:00am-6:30pm
• Tuesday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Wednesday 8:00am-6:30pm
• Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm
• Friday 8:00am-11:00am
