Responsibilities- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
- Performing MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other alloys
- Laying out, aligning, and fabricating metal components with precision
- Inspecting welds for strength, accuracy, and compliance
- Maintaining welding equipment and following strict safety protocols
- Collaborating with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to meet production targets
- Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience
- Minimum 1 year underground welding experience
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tape measures
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and a safety-first mindset
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
- AWS certification is a plus
- Completed MSHA training is a plus
