Plant Manager

Large Poultry Manufacturer in Alabama is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team!

Must have Poultry experience and strong job stability!

• Follow all safety rules, company policies and be knowledgeable about GMP’s, SSOP’s and BRCGS policies.
• Have a positive attitude toward all company policies, rules, goals and fellow company associates.
• Verbalize company culture on a daily basis.
• Direct production and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Ensure quality meets and satisfies all customer expectations.
• Ensure effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of quality products.
• Select, train, develop and motivate plant staff to maintain and continuously improve operations.
• Set production and processing goals for the plant.
• Manage food safety, legality and quality.
• Maintain plant property, equipment, contracts, leases and records to ensure compliance with USDA.
• Ensure compliance of all plant operations with company policy and federal, state and local regulations, including usage of water/sewer, ammonia, chemicals, gases and all energy sources.
• Ensure accuracy of operating reports to management, reporting current production status, plant cost, yield, maintenance and repairs and other variable cost.
• Comply with BRCGS policies.
