Acting as a General Contractor on projects ranging from $250,000 to $50 million, Krempp Construction provides comprehensive services including project management, quality control, safety management, cost control, on-site supervision, scheduling, and design.
Role Description Project Management & Administration- Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, photographs, and project documentation.
- Assist the project manager with project scheduling and maintain two-week look-ahead schedules.
- Review contract drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and closeout documentation.
- Maintain and update as-built drawings.
- Coordinate project activities between field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and Government representatives.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the Contractor Quality Control Program.
- Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and observations.
- Support weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies
- Coordinate subcontractor scheduling and work activities.
- Conduct subcontractor preconstruction meetings.
- Verify subcontractor work complies with project requirements.
- Coordinate material deliveries and procurement activities.
- Schedule utility locates and excavation permits as required.
- Coordinate testing agencies and specialty inspectors.
- 3+ years of construction, project engineering, quality control, or field engineering experience with a college degree OR 8+ years of Overall Construction experience with few years of similar roles of managing on-site construction work.
- Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & Project
- P6 scheduling experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Federal construction experience preferred but not required
- CQM and OSHA 30 certifications preferred, but will be trained upon start
