Position
Purpose:
Under the supervision of the School Principal, to act as a temporary replacement for the teacher in a class.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher.
- Follow procedures and achieve lesson goals.
- Assign and explain homework.
- Oversee students outside of the classroom, including hallways and cafeteria.
- Comply with all school regulations and policies.
- Take attendance and document daily notes.
- Keep classroom and work areas clean and orderly.
- Oversee classroom schedule and activities.
- Provide feedback to the teacher upon their return.
