Best Home Furnishing is currently seeking a qualified individual interested in a Maintenance Supervisor Position at our Jasper Dimensions Facility.

Job Summary: Leads a team dedicated to installing, maintaining and repairing wood working machinery, equipment and physical structures. Individual must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of wood working equipment, building maintenance, and repairs and high focus on safe work practices.

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities include the following:

• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
• Supervise and train workers.
• Coordinate daily preventive maintenance and maintenance activities.
• Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
• Fabricate, machine, and/or repair fixtures or parts.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work.
• Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
• Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
• All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor (essential).
• Strong electrical and mechanical ability.
• Effective performance management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.
• Great time management skills & detailed oriented.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Education or experience required: High school or equivalent (2+ years maintenance supervisor experience preferred)
