Advanced CNC Machine Operator- Kimball 16th Street-Jasper

Position: Advanced CNC Machine Operator- Kimball 16th Street-Jasper, IN
Daily Tasks Include:

* Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.

* Load and unload materials onto the machine

* Detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools

* Load cut parts onto racks, skids, and/or shelves

* Communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs

* Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment

* Perform typical machine shop operations.

* Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to manager or CSF.

* Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

* Perform the following CNC related duties:

* Power up and power down

* Lock out/tag out

* Calling up and entering CNC program

* Complete operator maintenance functions

* Run the machine

* Handle material

* Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results).

* Complete and maintain paperwork for parts

* Perform fabrication

* Lift up to 40 lbs.

* Ability to stand on concrete for 8-10 hours a day

* Able to work overtime as needed including weekends

* Must be able to read and interpret drawings

* Follow routers

* Use simple math to perform basic calculations

* Use basic hand held measuring tools.

* Must follow all safety guidelines

* Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.

* Must follow Safety and Environmental Polices and Guiding Principles.
