Pod - Disassembly

Job Overview

Disassembly associate will operate basic hand tools and perform detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate must verify the BOM tag matches the unit (core) provided. Following this, the associate will disassemble the unit by removing bolts, seals, and other exterior fasteners, then remove the oil pan, valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, and other internal components.

After disassembly, parts are cleaned with solvent, placed in baskets, and sent through a washer.

• Verify the BOM tag matches the unit (core).
• Remove bolts, seals, and other exterior fasteners from the unit.
• Disassemble components: oil pan, valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc.
• Clean parts using solvent, brush, scraper, and washer.
• Place cleaned parts in baskets and send them through the washer.

Monday - Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm. Overtime available.

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8–10hours).
• Proficiency with handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills, and hammers.
• Standing continuously; walking occasionally; sitting never; stooping occasionally; reaching/working overhead occasionally.

• Starting rate $20.00, plus increase based on experience.
