Own plant-level quality performance by identifying, tracking, and driving resolution of internal defects and external customer issues to ensure our product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Own external complaint follow-up, including root cause identification, corrective action, and closure
- Own internal defect tracking, reporting, follow-up, and correction to eliminate repeat issues
- In-process inspection of products
- Daily Out of Box Audits
- In-process inspections of components
- In-process inspections of assembly kits
- Co-Lead Quality Round Table meetings that include review of Quality KPI’s / Metrics, recent customer complaints, and follow-up on quality activities
- Implement and update quality documentation
- Support of special inspection and containment processes
- Calibration of measuring equipment
- Identification and initiation of engineering changes based on quality findings
- Ability to make decisions on the aesthetic quality of our products
