Business Sales Executive

Smithville Communications is seeking a Business Sales Executive to grow our business customer base across Indiana. In this role, you will prospect and qualify leads, build relationships with local organizations, and recommend fiber internet, voice, and communication solutions that fit their needs. You'll manage the full sales cycle-from discovery and proposals to negotiation and close-while collaborating with technical and support teams to ensure smooth installation and ongoing service.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new business customers across assigned territory
• Consult with organizations to understand connectivity and communication needs
• Present and demo Smithville fiber, voice, and telecom solutions
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts to meet customer requirements
• Negotiate pricing and terms within established guidelines
• Manage and grow a pipeline using CRM and structured sales process
• Collaborate with operations and support teams for smooth service delivery
• Meet or exceed sales, revenue, and activity targets
• Maintain strong relationships with existing business clients
• Represent Smithville at community, industry, and networking events
