Shipping Processor

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Shipping Processor to join our Jasper, IN team! Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor: automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, marine, and more. With 85+ locations across the country, Meyer services dealers nationwide. Meyer Logistics is a transportation company that serves as the backbone of Meyer Distributing’s shipping network. Meyer Logistics has a fleet of 500+ trucks.

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

• Education/Certification:
  
  High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate equipment.
• Forklift and Manlift (Cherry Picker) experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software.
• Pull and process Third Party Orders.
• Scan product using handheld scanners.
• Verify and print correct labeling.
• Place packing slips on product packages or on box.
• Use banding equipment on product if needed.
• Stage product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed Ex/LTL/truck shipments.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times.
• Ensure box machine and shipping areas are clean and neat before leaving EOD.
