Routing Specialist – National Branch Operations
Job Summary:
As a Routing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our nationwide network of 53 branch locations by designing efficient final mile delivery and pickup routes for our box truck fleet. This position directly impacts on our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers while operating efficiently and responsibly. As an Associate Owner with JASPER, you will collaborate closely with fellow routing team members and Operations Managers across the country to develop routing solutions that balance customer commitments, cost management, and operational excellence.
Your work will help ensure our products and services reach our customers on time, every time.
- Starting pay based on experience (hourly position, Monday-Friday, 40-45 hours a week)

- Create and optimize daily final mile delivery and pickup routes across our national branch network
- Partner with Operations Managers at each location to align routing plans with local needs, volume, and resources
- Continuously evaluate routes to improve efficiency, reduce miles, and control transportation costs while maintaining high service levels
- Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement in routing, delivery timing, and overall network efficiency
- Adjust routing plans as needed to respond to changes in demand, weather, or operational challenges
- Ensure routes are built with safety, compliance, and company standards in mind
- Communicate routing expectations clearly with operations teams to support execution at the branch level
- Collaborate with fellow Associate Owners to share best practices and drive continuous improvement across the routing team
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- Experience in routing, logistics, transportation planning, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills are a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across locations and departments
