Procurement Specialist-ZI Job Jeddah area,Saudi Arabia,Business

Responsible for the local forecasting, tabulating, and the sourcing of material such as parts, consumables, cables, safety materials, etc., including logistics, replenishment, and material handling services in a timely and cost effective manner.

Key Accountabilities

Identify, negotiate, and organize the relationships with the International and local suppliers for the quality supply of needed products at the most competitive price possible with least disturbance to the operation as per Company policy.
Evaluate the supplier performance cost, quality, and delivery as per Policy.
Develop strategies for the assigned procurement areas to include spend analysis.
Implement sourcing strategies to support the divisional objectives providing the competitive advantage in areas of material, supplies, and services.
Locate, analyze, and develop consolidated supplier base, on ZI/ZT/Raytheon approved vendor list database, to meet current and future commodity needs.
Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities.
Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process.
Maintain and promote sound relationships with suppliers and the business community governed by the ZT Code of Ethics.
Arrange the RFI/RFQ/PO/IGR and ensure to document all the processes.
Understand and comply with SOW, FAR, DFARS, and Q Note RTN standards.
Stay up to date with any new Regulation, Terms, and conditions from SASO, Custom Duty, or Authority.
Prepare appropriate reports about the suppliers or any issue.
Resolve as many reported problems as expertise permits using available systems and following procedures and policies for handling support cases.
Act as a liaison between Quality, production, and Inventory to ensure accurate problem interpretation and maintain ongoing business staff during the problem resolution process.
Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and resolutions in the management system.
Cooperate with the team to follow and implement all directives, policies, and procedures issued by ZI department.
Keep abreast of new innovative ideas and techniques for speeding up business processes.
Other duties as assigned by direct managers.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

Educational Qualifications and

Certifications:

Degree or Diploma in International Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or International Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or Bachelor of Business Degree.
Knowledge
:
Must have a sound working knowledge of Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
Technical

Skills:

Communication, Negotiation, Excel sheet reporting, and Analysis.
Language

Skills:

Written and spoken knowledge of the English and Arabic languages.
Experience: Minimum of 3 5 years experience in the same field.
