Business Analyst, Data Analyst
JOB PURPOSE
Support and implement programs that align employees with key business strategies and initiatives. Provide specialized support in the analyses and definition of organizational structures, mapping of positions and roles, reporting relationships, responsibilities, teamwork, business or operating procedures, asset rationalization, improvement of internal processes, projects for change to design efficient methods of accomplishing work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organisation StructureIdentify opportunities for business performance improvement through the reallocation of responsibilities and amendment of reporting lines.
Organisational DesignContribute to specialist research and analysis to support evaluation of the current-state organization, development and evaluation of future-state organizational design propositions, and identification of the costs and business benefits of change.
Change ManagementAct as a team member supporting a change initiative by providing basic analysis, project plan updates, and other support to deliver prescribed outcomes.
Project ManagementWork within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
Procedural ImprovementContribute to procedural improvement by proposing enhancements to current working processes and practices to ensure maximum benefit to the organization.
Solutions AnalysisInterpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, and precedents.
Job Analysis and EvaluationSupport the delivery of job analysis and job evaluation processes; produce job descriptions and role profiles and associated scoping data.
Information and Business AdviceResolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.
Personal Capability BuildingDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
General Experience
Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems(7 to 12 months)
