Position: Business Development Manager (Arab) / Contracting

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction and contracting projects.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Generate leads through networking, market research, and industry contacts.
  • Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate upcoming tenders and project opportunities.
  • Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for tender submissions.
  • Review project requirements and ensure alignment with company capabilities.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Act as main point of contact for potential and existing clients.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and positioning.
  • Provide strategic insights to management for business expansion.
  • Contribute to company growth strategy and market positioning.
  • Identify new markets, sectors, and partnerships.
  • Support diversification into new services or geographical areas.
  • Work closely with Estimation, Engineering, Project, Finance, and Procurement teams.
  • Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to execution teams.
  • Prepare regular business development reports.
  • Track pipeline opportunities and conversion rates.
  • Report on sales targets and performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a Business Development professional with at least 3–5 years in Saudi Arabia.
  • Previous employment in large contracting companies within Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong administrative, managerial, and personal competencies suitable for this role.
  • Preference for native Arabic speaking.
  • Proficiency in English.
