Job OverviewTo lead and drive commercial excellence across the organization by enhancing processes, performance management, and capabilities, while developing and executing international business strategies to expand market presence and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:Commercial Excellence
- Lead the development and implementation of commercial excellence frameworks, tools, and best practices across the organization
- Drive performance management through KPIs, dashboards, and continuous tracking of commercial results
- Identify performance gaps and lead initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Standardize commercial processes, ensuring consistency and alignment across channels and functions
- Oversee trade investments optimization and ensure ROI‑driven decision making
- Drive data‑driven decision making by leveraging insights, analytics, and reporting tools
- Lead the development and execution of international market expansion strategies
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and distribution models
- Oversee performance of international markets, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives
- Build and manage relationships with key international partners and distributors
- Ensure effective go‑to‑market strategies tailored for each international market
- Align with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure integrated commercial execution
- Drive cross‑functional initiatives to enhance overall business performance
- Ensure alignment between category strategies, sales execution, and international expansion
- Lead the development and execution of the Commercial function’s strategy, OKRs, and performance roadmap
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
- Monitor progress against targets and drive corrective actions where needed
- Set clear performance objectives, offer necessary support, and regularly evaluate and provide feedback to direct reports for continuous development.
- Actively participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent for the function.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor workflow.
- Create opportunities for team members to contribute to improvement, innovation, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
- Own the budgeting cycle and proactively contribute to the budgeting process.
- Manage departments effectively within budget, providing accurate reports on progress and challenges encountered.
- Formulate strategies that drive positive financial impact while mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring consistent and controlled execution of daily tasks.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Foster a high‑performance work environment and actively promote company values.
- 8 – 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial, sales, or market research within the food industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
