The Assistant Officer– Operational Excellence and DS support business growth and efficiency securing shipments and optimizing processes. This role also ensures strong client relationships, timely delivery service, and compliance with industry standards while implementing improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Job Accountabilities- Support the design and implementation of process optimization initiatives to drive efficiency gains, cost reduction, and enhanced service quality.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards, proactively identifying risks and enforcing robust cargo handling governance frameworks.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to elevate operational excellence and deliver superior customer experience.
- Support the analysis of the operational data to identify trends and optimize processes.
- Assist in the change management initiatives, ensuring seamless adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies across the organization.
- Conduct regional visits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and oversee ground handling activities.
- Work with Regional Commercial Directors on operational matters and assist in new product development.
- Assess customer requirements and facilitate developing tailored solutions to drive business growth and strengthen client relationships.
- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products and services in line with agreed service levels and customer expectations.
- Serve as the main communication link between customers and internal teams.
- Ensure engagement with walk-in customers, government entities, and private sector clients
- Processing the SPL shipments daily, ensuring accurate and timely updates within CHAMP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Aviation management or Business Administration, or related field
- A minimum of 0–1 years of experience in the same or similar field
