2. Role Objective
This role empowers the operational excellence discipline from the ground up — embedding process improvement methodologies and positioning the Group for institutional excellence recognition ahead of its growth and strategic milestones.
3.Key Responsibilities
- Conducts operational excellence assessments across sectors, identifying process improvement and efficiency opportunities
- Applies structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Excellence) to diagnose and redesign operational workflows
- Leads preparation of institutional and business excellence award submissions (e.g., King Abdulaziz Quality Award, EFQM Excellence Model), coordinating evidence-gathering across sectors
- Benchmarks operational KPIs against sector and industry standards to identify performance gaps
- Supports the Quality Manager in developing and maintaining excellence frameworks and maturity models
- Prepares operational excellence reports and improvement roadmaps for management review
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in operational/business excellence, process improvement, or quality management
- Practical experience with excellence frameworks (EFQM, Baldrige, or equivalent) and award submission processes
- Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong command of Arabic and English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification (Lean Six Sigma)
- Prior involvement in a successful institutional excellence award submission
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, or multi-sector holding company environments
- EFQM Assessor certification or equivalent
