A Teacher of Physics is responsible for supporting the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the education of all pupils to assist with pupils learning the provision of care and the management of pupils behaviour under the discretion of teaching staff senior colleagues The post includes a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
Main ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils personal social and health needs ensuring safety and welfare Supervise and engage pupils in learning tasks and activities Provide 1 1 or small group support for withdrawn students Build positive relationships and promote inclusion and independence Assist teachers with lesson preparation displays and behaviour management Maintain pupil records and report progress or concerns to teachers Support curriculum delivery including literacy numeracy and ICT activities Prepare and manage classroom resources and equipment Follow school policies on safeguarding health safety and confidentiality Participate in meetings training supervision and educational visits
Skills and QualificationsUndergraduate degree (Education or equivalent)2 to 3 years preferred worked in International school environment
