An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to support the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Record Keeping:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions.
- Record financial data in accounting software and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide analysis and interpretation of financial data to management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and report variances.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Monitor and control expenditures to stay within budget.
- Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
- Prepare and file tax accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of wages.
- Handle payroll-related reporting and compliance.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools. - Analytical
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
