Senior Accountant & Finance Supervisor

FRAND, a company specializing in the import and distribution of food products, is looking for a qualified candidate to join its team in Jeddah for the following position:

We are seeking a candidate with strong practical experience in accounting and financial supervision, who is capable of managing the monthly closing process, cash flow, inventory, banking, and financing activities, as well as preparing clear financial analyses to support management decisions.

• Supervise accounting operations and review journal entries, invoices, payments, and collections.
• Manage the monthly closing process and prepare and review financial statements.
• Prepare the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and identify cash gaps and upcoming obligations.
• Monitor bank accounts, credit facilities, financing arrangements, installments, interest, fees, and due dates.
• Prepare financing application documents and coordinate operationally with banks and financial institutions.
• Perform and review bank, customer, supplier, tax, and suspense account reconciliations.
• Review inventory, stock count variances, cost of goods sold, and landed cost for each shipment.
• Analyze sales and profitability by brand, product, customer, and sales channel.
• Review discounts, commissions, selling costs, and rebates and assess their impact on profitability.
• Prepare financial and management reports, analyze variances and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
• Review VAT compliance and ensure adherence to electronic invoicing requirements and other applicable regulations.
• Supervise the accounting data-entry employee and review the accuracy and completeness of their work.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of five years of practical experience in accounting and finance.
• Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar supervisory role.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
  • FMCG.
  • Food products.
  • Import operations.
  • Distribution.
• Strong experience in:
  • Monthly closing.
  • Financial statement preparation.
  • Cash flow management.
  • Inventory and cost of goods sold.
  • Banking and financing.
• Good knowledge of VAT and accounting requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, discrepancy identification, and report preparation.

• CMA – Certified Management Accountant, which will be considered a strong advantage.
• VAT Specialist certification.
• Professional certification or training in IFRS.
• SOCPA fellowship or ACCA qualification will be considered an additional advantage.

Priority will be given to candidates with strong practical experience in FMCG, inventory, cash flow management, and monthly closing, followed by relevant professional certifications.
