Woodston Personnel are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Consultant Paediatrician in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics to join a specialist child-focused service delivering excellence in assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex developmental and behavioural presentations.
This is a senior clinical role offering a high degree of clinical autonomy, leadership influence, and scope for service development
. The successful candidate will act as a clinical lead in developmental and behavioural care, working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues, families, and external stakeholders to ensure best-in-class outcomes for children and young people.
- Provide expert consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of children and adolescents with complex developmental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, learning disorders, and emotional regulation difficulties.
- Manage complex and high-acuity cases, offering second opinions and specialist input where required.
- Lead the development of comprehensive, evidence-based management plans in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver clear, authoritative medico-legal and educational reports where required.
- Provide senior clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing colleagues.
- Act as a key clinical liaison with education providers, early intervention services, and external agencies to support coordinated and integrated care pathways.
- Contribute to service planning, pathway development, and the expansion of developmental and behavioural services.
- Ensure clinical practice aligns with national guidelines, regulatory standards, and best practice frameworks.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of clinical protocols, assessment frameworks, and service standards.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to junior doctors and allied health professionals where appropriate.
- Contribute to education, training, and professional development initiatives within the service.
- Maintain advanced specialist knowledge through ongoing CPD and engagement with current research and innovation in developmental and behavioural paediatrics< time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub
- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / SpainMust have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
