Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor under the direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper and SM-Housekeeping, Housekeeping supervisor assists in directing and controlling all housekeeping activities, ensuring that the cleanliness, orderliness, and physical aesthetics of the area of assignment are maintained in accordance with established standards.

Responsibilities
  • Records and notes down items that require repair and follow-up.
  • Submits recommendations for painting, repair, furnishing, relocation of equipment and space to the Exec. Housekeeper for consideration.
  • Coordinates with Engineering on needed repairs / maintenance work and follows up on outstanding work orders as needed.
  • Follows up and re-checks areas which are not attended to within acceptable timeframe.
  • Make sure all equipment and area are cleaned.
  • Ensure compliance to grooming standards as documented in Employee Handbook.
  • May assist in the housekeeping coordination function (e.g., communication), as needed and where volume of tasks permit.
  • Drafts/Assists in drafting the housekeeping duty roster by providing information on peak periods as early as 3 days out to serve as guide; ensures information is updated daily.

  • Has high proficiency in both written and verbal English.
