In this role, you will be responsible for managing all specific features related to the Jeddah lounge operations. Responsibilities involve full management front-of-house operation and the delivery of a variety of food and beverage services within the lounge. You will also oversee daily reporting and administrative activities, including quality assurance and HACCP auditing, while managing service providers and coordinating closely with Qatar Airways Ground Services and airport authorities.

Maintain customer service levels and sales through regular reviews of customer preferences in order to ensure that the unit provides quality product and service to its customers.

• Take overall responsibility for entire lounge operations. Manage and ensure work output that meets the agreed standard of quantity, quality, cost and time frame to maintain financial viability within the Lounge. Ensure that the daily functioning of the lounge is carried out as assigned by the management.
• Coordinating necessary activities to ensure efficient and risk free operation with all areas of the Lounge.
• Ensuring Efficient and effective communication between team members throughout the Lounge operations including internal and external bodies where necessary, ensuring that customers do not face any service related issues.
• Effective communication with external and internal stakeholders is maintained, including being accountable for management of outsourced services such as cleaning and maintenance of the lounges.
• Provide solutions to service related issues and problems faced by staff within the lounge, ensuring that they are addressed to higher management and resolved with quick turn-around times when necessary.
• Provide all lounge services; manage accounts, financial, contractual obligations and day to day communication within the lounge, ensuring that service provided by respective parties are within Service Level Agreements between the two companies.
• Liaise with local airport authorities and arrange periodic consultation with them in order to discuss issues and enhance assistance or support from respective authorities.
• Prepare the annual business plans and operating within the budgets, ensuring that adequate funding provisions are made for all activities with the area of responsibility.
• Propose cost efficient initiatives to the Senior Manager Lounges in order to sustain expense levels and improve revenue opportunities, and suggest value added initiatives so that passengers can benefit from services without compromising QR quality and standards.
