The Hostess is responsible for welcoming and assisting guests in a professional and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure.
The role involves working closely with the restaurant management and service team to ensure high service standards and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing seating arrangements
- Coordinating table assignments
- Handling reservations and guest inquiries
- Maintaining effective communication with the service team
- Ensuring that guests are seated efficiently according to restaurant procedures
- Helping maintain a smooth flow of operations during busy periods
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Keeping the reception and waiting areas organized
- Handling guest requests or concerns professionally
Required:
- Previous experience in a hostess, front-of-house, customer service, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills
- Professional, friendly, and welcoming personality
- Ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to handle guest requests and concerns professionally
- Flexible to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays when required
- Good command of English
- Additional languages are an advantage
