Country Manager - Road Operations leader

The On The Road (OTR) Operations leader is a pivotal role which maximizes OTR operations and experience. Excellent at leveraging operational and stakeholder relationships, they are the custodian of on road experience at station level, creating a 'win-win' culture between Operations and the DSPs. ( Delivery Service Partner)

• Working with OTR safety and site operations to deliver Regional safety metrics
• Lead OTR team to deliver performance improvement across the region and provide RLT weekly visibility, including solutions
• Deliver Regional W  for on-road performance (DSP scorecard / OTR Scorecard)
• Lead improvement activities in key priority areas for the Region
• Create sustainable business practices that create a 'win-win' culture between Operations and DSPs
• Ensure a best-in-class dispatch and on road experience at site level
• Be the voice of the DSP within the operational region
• Working with site operations, ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) and CO (Central Operations) ensure routing efficiency and best practice is followed to improve CPP (Cost Per Package)
• Owns, delivers and executes the regional capacity plans and solves as required
• Execution of Peak readiness tasks
• Plan Regional network changes (PCD (Planned Cycle Down), mech changes, launches)
• Coordinate OTR ACES and OTR Safety projects across the Region
• Dotted-line leadership of the Regional AMDO and SMDO Community

The OTR Operations leader defines the medium-term OTR strategy, leading and influencing both internal and external stakeholders. They partner with Senior Regional Managers, supporting the execution of OTR Safety, Capacity, Quality and Experience with in that Area. They further partner with Delivery Partner Managers, OTR ACES and Community teams to implement Network wide best practice. The role is field based with regular travel required across country.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to lead the OTR team in KSA, as part of the wider AMET ( Africa, Middle East, and Turkey )org organization. This is a highly autonomous area in which an individual with a passion for on road operations can thrive.

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Tenacity to develop ideas independently considering multiple stakeholders and requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to support influencing and presenting new ideas to multiple managerial levels within AMZL ( Amazon Logistics ) and DSP. Analytical with excellent problem solving skills to improve current processes.
• Proficient in Excel

• Experience of Supplier or Commercial Account Management Strategy
• Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives.
• Understanding of continuous improvement techniques to drive change. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment
• 7+ years of work experience is expected of the role
