Job Purpose / Role :
To drive sales and achieve profitability targets ensuring that target achievement, business development and high customer focus are maintained as per the strategic plan set for the branch
Areas and Responsibilities :Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitors their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
- Implements day-to-day operations assigned for Branches function to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Ensures ‘look and feel’ of the branch is consistent with Riyad Bank standards and follows up with relevant departments, if required
- Provides inputs to local marketing campaign efforts
- Acts as second-level approver, when required
- Drives sales culture within managed branch, develops sales plans (in line with targets) and works with branch staff to implement it
- Allocates sales targets to branch staff and plan sales activities to ensure the achievement of the targets
- Drives cross selling and ensures that branch staff captures all sales opportunities and communicates them to Sales Management and other relevant parties for conversion
- Consolidates (at the branch level) and reviews lead generation, sales targets and incentives forms and communicates the same to Area Manager
Experience:
- Executes segment value propositions and fulfilment of all services ensuring consistency of customer experience in own branch
- Develops and maintains strong professional relationships with existing and new customers to ensure that their banking needs are being met and promote additional products and services of the bank for their consideration
- Meets proactively key customers in the Branch with a view of strengthening relations with key customers and listens to their feedback and initiates actions as appropriate
- Promotes bank products effectively in the Branch through displays, literature and personal interaction with customers in order to project a professional image and enhance the awareness of customers on various products offered
- Ensures all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff
- Manages branch staffing levels and ensures compliance with administrative and service guidelines
- Ensures and facilitates the employment, training and development of Saudi nationals within the organization
Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with preferably a specialization in Finance or Accounting
- 6-8 years relevant experience in banking including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- Arabic: proficient
