Kewdale, WA. Job n Commercial Services Pty Ltd. Here at Amazon we are seeking experienced Operations Shift Managers to lead our team of associates within our Delivery Station in Kewdale, WA. You will motivate, mentor, and coach a team while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance to meet customer expectations and ensure orders are delivered on time and to the right location.
- Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates
- Lead by example and with empathy
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards, while promoting a Health and Safety culture on-site
- Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
- Operate in a manner that may require pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching with varying weights
You will be an inspiring leader within our Delivery Stations, working to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes to ensure orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. You and your peers will ensure workflows run smoothly and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Basic Qualifications- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience, or Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, or Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
- 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience
