Sales Director

Sales Director – Distribution (Jeddah, KSA)

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead the commercial function of a major distribution business in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior leadership role for a mature, seasoned executive who can manage a large field force, own full P&L accountability, and act as the key interface with principal partners.

• Own and manage the full sales P&L across all channels
• Lead and manage a field force of 100+, driving performance, coverage, and execution excellence
• Manage a portfolio of principal accounts
  , acting as the primary point of contact for brand/principal relationships
• Develop and execute channel strategy across the full route-to-market (modern trade, traditional trade, HORECA, e-commerce, etc. as applicable)
• Build strong, trusted relationships with principals/suppliers, aligning local execution with global/regional brand strategy
• Manage senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Managing Director, principals, and cross-functional leadership
• Set and deliver on sales targets, budgets, and forecasts
• Build, coach, and retain a high-performing sales leadership team beneath you

• Minimum 15 years of progressive sales/commercial experience
• Recent experience (last several years) as a Sales Director within a leading distribution company in Saudi Arabia
• Demonstrated experience managing principal relationships within a distribution model
• Proven track record managing large field sales forces (100+)
• Strong P&L ownership experience across multiple channels
• Excellent stakeholder management skills — internally and with principals
• Arabic speaker (fluent English also required)
• Strong executive presence, leadership maturity, and gravitas
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi distribution/FMCG landscape
• Senior leadership role with direct MD reporting line
• Full ownership of a significant commercial portfolio
• High-impact position within an established distribution business in KSA
