Key Account Manager - O&M (Water & Wastewater)

Company: WETICO

WETICO is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Sales team and drive business growth in the water and wastewater treatment sector
, with a strong focus on Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts.

Role Purpose

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing new customers, managing key O&M accounts, and achieving sales targets while maintaining long-term client relationships aligned with WETICO's vision and values.

Responsibilities
  • Sales & Business Development (60%)
    • Identify and develop O&M opportunities for water & wastewater treatment plants
    • Prepare and negotiate O&M proposals (manpower, spare parts, chemicals, SLAs, KPIs)
    • Support pricing, costing, and long-term contract negotiations
    • Prepare sales bids, technical proposals, and quotations
    • Meet sales targets and manage customer payments
    • Support marketing activities (events, conferences, trade shows)
  • Relationship Management (20%)
    • Maintain long-term relationships with O&M clients
    • Act as the commercial focal point between customers and O&M teams
    • Conduct customer performance reviews
    • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Customer Service (20%)
    • Support customers during O&M execution
    • Handle commercial and contractual issues
    • Assist with change orders and claims
    • Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical or equivalent)
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years of sales experience in water/wastewater or similar industry
    • Strong knowledge of O&M operations and technical products
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication in Arabic & English
    • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
    • Commercial and technical sales acumen
