As a Sales Engineer / Specialist
, you will identify new opportunities, manage and grow client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure Solutions Valley's energy solutions align with client needs. You will have a deep understanding of client business, strategy, and operations to identify opportunities for growth and maximize revenue.
You will work in a collaborative and agile environment, partnering closely with Proposal, Technical, Marketing, and Business Development teams. Your efforts will support achieving revenue targets and driving business growth across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new opportunities from the market, managing leads through to commercial agreement closure.
- Generate opportunities related to SV business areas, including Electrical Infrastructure, Energy Efficiency, PV/BESS, E-Mobility, Data & Digital solutions.
- Cover multiple market segments:
Industrial, Commercial, Government, etc. - Build and maintain strategic, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business, strategy, and future projects.
- Develop and execute Account Plans to manage clients effectively, increase revenue, and maximize margins.
- Assist in developing and implementing the sales strategy for the assigned market.
- Manage sales proposals, contractual agreements, and commercial terms.
- Provide regular updates on leads, sales funnels, and pipelines; prepare accurate revenue forecasts (annual, quarterly, monthly) and sales performance reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates in CRM or other approved tools.
- Understand procurement processes, requirements, and business models across different client segments.
- Identify value drivers and cost structures to support profitable and sustainable growth for SV business units.
- Ensure all assigned client payments are collected on time.
- 3-6 years of proven success in complex B2B sales.
- Focus on industrial markets, energy efficiency, and power projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of power and energy-related products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to motivate and coordinate integrated teams, driving business growth through EPC accounts.
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Basic understanding of legal and contractual requirements.
- Previous experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Understanding of market segmentation, industry-specific buying behavior, and business models.
- Proven experience working with end-users, contractors, and consultants.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
