Upciti is a VC-backed smart city solution (Point Nine, Chalfen Ventures, Demeter, Innovacom, NCI), already deployed in cities across 17 countries, including flagship locations such as Jeddah, Paris, New York, Monaco, Florence, and Montreal.

Our solution combines in-house, privacy-by-design computer vision sensors with a comprehensive SaaS platform covering IoT management, data visualization, and analytics.

We offer an all-in-one solution that enables cities to deploy new services quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. We design and manufacture our own multi-use sensors, develop our IoT management platform, and provide seamless data integration through simplified APIs and full interoperability.

Your Role

You will be part of the international team led by our International Business Development Manager and Middle East Sales Director, working closely with the leadership team.

As the first on-the-ground Account Executive based in Jeddah, you will play a key role in growing Upciti’s success in the region. Your primary objective will be to drive sales with cities and government entities, both directly and through integrators, while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective direct sales strategies in Saudi Arabia
  • Drive performance across the entire sales funnel
  • Build lead lists and conduct prospecting using AI tools, cold calls, emails, and Linked In
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Manage and close deals
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Monitor, report, and analyze sales performance and market trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to product development by sharing market feedback
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tech and SaaS sales, preferably involving government and channel sales
  • Proven track record in building or scaling a sales pipeline
  • Consistently exceeding sales quota
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. You are a strong listener and communicator.
