Job OverviewTo maximize sales and market share of assigned Opella products in the designated area by conducting sales promotions in line with company strategy, rules, and local regulations, and supporting the District Manager / Sales Manager in knowledge transfer to new hires.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities- Promote Opella products and conduct regular visits to pharmacies to monitor product availability and movement.
- Introduce new products and use sales techniques and operational tools to achieve objectives, constantly improving selling skills and knowledge.
- Supply quality medical information to healthcare professionals in compliance with professional ethics and company image, rules and regulations.
- Identify customers and manage sales promotion of assigned products to target doctors to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets in line with company strategy.
- Develop weekly and monthly visit plans in consultation with the line manager, complying with Opella internal sales systems and procedures.
- Maintain and update product and competition knowledge to create a professional image and build good relationships with trade personnel.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities.
- Update all required information on doctor cards and lists.
- Implement ongoing targeting and profiling of customers to increase sales.
- Communicate regularly with key opinion leaders, gather market feedback, and report relevant information to line manager per company procedures.
- Support the District Manager with knowledge transfer to new hires, familiarizing them with product knowledge, medical information, territory coverage, and reporting systems.
- Implement territory coverage plans regarding number of sales calls and visit frequency.
- Effectively utilize company resources, including samples, promotion material, mobile, and vehicle.
- Abide by the internal Code of Ethics, maintaining high professional standards of conduct and protecting the company's reputation.
- Apply Opella policies, procedures, and legal requirements in all work.
- Escalate decisions or seek support if personal knowledge is insufficient.
- Cooperate with the company to maintain a safe place of work and protect personal safety and that of others.
- Support and conform to company safety rules and procedures.
- Report any accident, incident or near miss, and assist in investigations to prevent recurrence.
