Senior Oncology Product Specialist
- Jeddah Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving the communicated sales targets for our companys oncology portfolio in the Western region within KSA, including specific institutions. Accountable for accurate execution of territory sales target, planning, and operational cross functional territory development plan within assigned territory. Able to identify and communicate with relevant customers, including Key Opinion Leaders, Oncology decision making authorities in cancer institutions, and other members of the appropriate multidisciplinary team (nurses, pharmacists, etc.),
who are influential in the use of our company oncology products, to maximise sales/growth in the assigned territory and achieve the company objectives. Works in close collaboration with the line manager and members of the cross functional team. Is responsible for the creation, execution, leading, and coordinating of the activities of the other team members in the same territory to ensure the impact of a cross functional team approach is leveraged.
Supports the marketing team to drive the growth of our company products, implement marketing strategies to maximise business outcomes, and achieve business objectives. Maintains an accurate and up to date picture of the competitive landscape and clinical perspectives within the cancer institutions in the assigned territory. Provides an accurate and reasonable territory potential picture as a basis for short and long term territory sales planning;
should have a high level reflex regarding competition assessment and reporting. Maintains an excellent understanding of various processes within the cancer institutions in their territory: multidisciplinary team approaches, hospital treatment protocols for cancer, ethics committee processes, pharmacy policies, formulary inclusion process, etc. In collaboration with and supported by our company market access and logistics colleagues, ensures sufficient inventory at the hospital pharmacy to meet the demand of oncologists / patients for our company oncology medicines.
Ensures adherence to the high ethical standards of our companys oncology business.
- 2 3 years experience in a pharmaceutical company
- Preferred West Region experience is a plus. Oncology experience is preferred. - A university education degree in a relevant healthcare related / pharmacy education certificate.
- The ability to interact with all levels of customers, including high level scientific leaders.
