Job Summary

The Sales Supervisor – DRD (Cash Van) is responsible for leading a team of Van Sales Representatives (VSRs) to achieve sales, distribution, and execution targets within the assigned territory. The role focuses on driving market growth, developing customer relationships, coaching team members, and ensuring compliance with company sales and merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and expand distribution.
• Ensure proper execution of pricing, merchandising, planograms, and company equipment standards.
• Coach and train VSRs through regular field accompaniment and performance feedback.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service levels.
• Track sales performance, analyze market data, and implement corrective action plans.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives and provide ongoing recognition and feedback to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of FMCG sales experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of sales execution, merchandising, and route-to-market operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Direct Route Distribution (DRD) or Cash Van operations.
• Food & Beverage FMCG industry experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and distribution targets.
• Valid driving license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
