As a Surgical Equipment Manager you will be part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support organization. In this field-based role you will be responsible for driving sales performance and promoting Alcon's surgical equipment portfolio to healthcare professionals and key customer accounts. You will work closely with ophthalmic surgeons, hospital stakeholders, operating room teams and other healthcare professionals to build strong partnerships, identify customer needs and deliver solutions that support improved patient outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Achieve sales productivity and performance targets within assigned budgets and timelines
- Promote Alcon s surgical equipment and solutions to healthcare professionals and key customer accounts
- Reach contact coverage and frequency objectives through a variety of communication channels and customer engagement activities
- Develop and execute territory and account business plans aligned with commercial objectives
- Organize and implement customer events educational programs sales presentations and marketing initiatives
- Support key accounts hospital networks referral pathways and market access activities
- Provide input into territory sales forecasting and the effective use of promotional resources
- Maintain a strong understanding of Alcon s products strategies competitive landscape market trends and customer needs
- Gather and share customer feedback market intelligence and industry insights to support business decisions
- Build strong long-term customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate account records and complete all required reports in a timely manner
