The Carpenter is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of all aspects of hotel woodwork, ensuring the quality of work conforms with standards.

• Attend to all types of construction, repair, and maintenance work required of the hotel woodwork, furniture, and fixtures.
• Construct, repair, and maintain aspects of hotel woodwork ensuring quality standards are met.
• Ensure all tools and workshop equipment are functioning properly.
• Perform all responsibilities to the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual.
• Interact with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
• Complete repairs as detailed in the Repair and Maintenance Requests.
• Be environmentally friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reduce whenever applicable.

• Previous experience as a Carpenter for a minimum of 4 years.
• Good knowledge of woodwork machinery utilization and maintenance.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Teamwork mindset.
• Physically fit.
