The Datacenter Containment Installation Technician (or Cable Basket Containment Installer
) role is for hands-on work installing wire mesh cable basket trays (commonly called "basket containment" or "cable baskets") in a data center project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This position focuses on practical installation of overhead cable management systems used to support and route data/power cables in data center environments, ensuring organized, safe, and efficient cabling pathways.

• Install and assemble wire mesh cable basket trays (basket containment systems) in accordance with project drawings and specifications for the Jeddah data center.
• Perform joining of straight basket sections using appropriate connectors, splices, or hardware to create continuous runs.
• Fabricate and install T-pieces (tees) for branching cable pathways.
• Set (position and level) basket tray sections, including supports, hangers, and fixings to walls, ceilings, or structures.
• Bend basket tray sections on-site to create required angles, turns, or offsets while maintaining proper cable support and bend radii (using tools like bolt cutters, shears, or field bending techniques).
• Cut basket tray to length as needed for custom fits.
• Ensure installations comply with basic safety standards, secure fixings, and good workmanship for data center environments.
• Work as part of a team under supervision to complete containment installations efficiently.

• Proven hands-on experience in basket work - specifically installing, joining, setting, bending, and fabricating wire mesh cable basket trays (or similar lightweight cable tray systems).
• Ability to join sections securely (e.g., using splice kits, washers, bolts, or clamps).
• Skill in creating T-pieces and other fittings on-site.
• Proficiency in setting trays level and supported correctly.
• Capability to bend trays accurately for directional changes without compromising structure or cable protection.
• Practical experience as an electrician
  , cable installer, or containment fitter - formal qualifications (e.g., diplomas or certifications) are not required
  , but strong field experience is essential.
• Comfortable working at heights, using basic hand tools (e.g., cutters, pliers, drills, levels), and following site safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret simple installation drawings or layouts (preferred but not mandatory).

• Previous work on data center, commercial, or industrial cable management projects.
• Familiarity with overhead containment systems in hot/cold aisle data center setups.
