Field/Service Technician, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
The Senior Electrician report directly to the Service Supervisor/Branch Manager. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment sold and serviced by the company. The Senior Electrician is capable of reconditioning Electric Power Generator components by following the Guidelines for Reusability and other pertinent Service or Parts information;
Performing testing adjusting and Technical Analysis Level 2 (TA2) on the Caterpillar equipment;
Perform load test on the Electric Power Generator set safely and efficient;
- Must be able to meet all the requirements of a Electrician as well as work effectively with minimum supervision
- Ensure that work assignments are completed according to the time requirement guidelines
- The Senior Electrician is capable of reconditioning components by following the Guidelines for Reusability and other pertinent Service or Parts information.
- Perform testing adjusting and Technical Analysis Level 2 (TA2) safely and efficient
- Perform load test on the Electric Power Generator Set
- Ability to install attachments sold and serviced by the company
- Comply with routine reporting requirements by completing appropriate paperwork regarding work assignments, such as work orders, warranty paperwork and tracking of equipment time, etc
- Establishes and maintains communications with the branch supervisor/shop managers regarding assigned work orders and pertinent details regarding those work orders
- Conduct a safety assessment before and during doing the job, organizing the workstation and removing unsafe conditions.
- Works compatibly with other personnel of the Company, and able to understand and properly execute instructions given
- Give assistance to other department personnel as required
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Supervisor/Manager, may be assigned to specialize in specific areas
Educational Qualifications and
Certifications:
Technical High School or Diploma
Knowledge: Diesel Engine Systems Advanced.
Caterpillar Electric Power Level 1 and 2.Electrical Safety.
Competent for foundational level technician assessment
Technical
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Language
Skills:
English Language and Arabic is an advantage.
Experience: 4 Year minimum have experience on the heavy equipment / electric power generation repair and services
