Overview Of The Role

The Paint Technician is responsible for performing high-quality paint repair and refinishing on vehicles within the workshop, ensuring adherence to manufacturers' standards and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Success in this role is measured through repeat repairs, sold hours per month, and customer feedback. The technician must demonstrate the Al-Futtaim values, communicate effectively with internal staff and clients, and suggest improvements for efficiency in the workshop.

• Ensure quality by minimizing return jobs and repeat repairs.
• Develop good communication by ensuring work explanations are well understood by the service advisor, foreman, other staff, and customers.
• Provide constructive inputs to improve efficiency regarding work methods, work environment, tools, and equipment.
• Achieve targeted sold hours per month to contribute to branch achievement.
• Provide technical input and complete each job following manufacturer's standards to provide a delighted customer experience.
• Stay current with product development to effectively address complex automobile repairs and issues.

• Technical proficiency in painting and vehicle repair techniques.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain repairs and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to ensure complete satisfaction.

• Diploma or Degree with Trade Certificate / Diploma in Painting or Automobile Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a well-reputed workshop in a similar role.
• Strong technical skills in painting and automobile engineering.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with service advisors, foremen, and customers.
